Advanced Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practitioner assignment description:
Compare and contrast in several ways in which the scope of practice is different from the clinical group majority state to another state the group has chosen (see below guidelines). Then, imagine you are being asked to speak to your peers about the scope of practice in the chosen state. Create a brief educational presentation for your peers on the scope of practice in the assigned state, compare/contrast NP scope to another state chosen by the group, and any PMHNP-specific regulations. Use any technology/media to create this presentation. Examples include a narrated PowerPoint presentation or a short video. The video presentations will also need to include a transcript and a copy of the State Practice Act (law) attached to the forum post.
